Saying YES to the dress..

Drove past a wedding dress shop Saturday.
As I glanced over, my thoughts got the best of me.
In the window displays four dresses.
Different each week, I'm sure.

Now I've driven past this shop several times before.  This is nothing new, but one things for sure, I always critic one of the four dresses.

Anyways, I believe that ever girl should have that opportunity in life.
To try on that beautiful gown, eventually walk down the aisle with it, be centre of attention for that one special day and say yes to the love of their life.

Ahhh...what a special moment.  It actually puts a big smile on my face.

Never pictured that for myself and it wasn't until one of my close friends got married that it dawned on me to think if I ever wanted that for myself some day.

Not sure why I never picture it, but I've always laughed thinking, "pffghhh ya right, I'll never see the day."

Kinda sad.

Well, that Saturday was a different day, let me tell ya.

When passing the store I thought,  "Awe, maybe one day."  There was no criticing happening that day.

I blame the sparkle on one of the dresses!!
(giggles)

It made me say "yes" to a dress some day.
I want that for myself damn it.
Now that I think of it, which women doesn't?

Didn't think I had the girly flame in me, did ya?
It does show up at times.

It makes me tear up.
Picturing my father walking me down an aisle, to face the love of my life and saying I do for the rest of my life...

Wow.
It's dreamy.
Romantic even and it's something that I would want more then anything.   Who am I kidding!

Throughout that Saturday afternoon, I was surrounded by couples and families, making this brain of mine run on high speed. I thought to myself...

A relationship that has unity, love and respect is something to look forward to as you get older.
You ween through potential candidates, an experience all in itself,  and you get to explore the things you want, what you don't want, and what you're willing to compromise on.

When you find that special someone you will just know!
(So I've been told)

I'm still waiting, but excited to know that one day I will look like a princess, have my king and ring!
